Their Impact
The largest urban preserve in the US, the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy protects, stewards, and transforms the McDowell Sonoran Preserve for the benefit of present and future generations. The role and mission of the Conservancy has evolved from advocacy and land acquisition to the implementation of several flagship stewardship, education, and outreach programs, including the Parsons Field Institute.
