First Things First
This state agency was created through a citizen’s initiative to fund quality early childhood development and health programs for children from birth to age 5. First Things First is Arizona’s only public funding source dedicated exclusively to early childhood, partnering with 28 statewide regional councils that have served 500,000 children through various FTF programs.
Strategize and develop a privately-sourced fund development plan for future fiscal and programmatic sustainability. Scope of work included internal assessment; limited external market research; fundraising priorities and opportunities; case for support; multi-year/multi- faceted strategic fund development plan; and prospect research and recommendations to support FTF’s first private fundraising endeavor.
