Their Impact

The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts has educated artists, arts educators, and art historians on the Arizona State University Tempe main campus since its origin as a degree-granting program in 1958. Today it is one of the largest and most respected public art schools in the country, offering courses in fine arts, art education, and art history. The School is ranked 22nd among Fine Art Schools in U.S. News and World Report and three School of Art discipline areas, including ceramics, photography, and printmaking are ranked at or near the top ten in the nation.

Our Role

Planning activities and facilitation of sessions to establish a strategic vision to significantly enhance the status, visibility, functionality, and educational offering of the School of Art, including a destination location and increased faculty and student interaction through consolidation of studios.
